The multimedia controls on both of the laptops are good and work quite well. The speakers of these two laptops are good not the but we think Helios 300’s speakers are work quite well than Lenovo Y540. Both laptops doing a good job while playing videos and you won’t get any sort of lag from both of these laptops. But again Helios 300 is a more preferred option than Lenovo Y540.

Acer Helios 300 comes with a 4-cell 58-watt hour battery which gives you an overall battery life of 7 hours. While playing games the battery life of Helios 300 works quite brilliantly but while playing videos, watching movies, and using Youtube this battery is not that great as compared to the Lenovo Y540.

On the other hand, Lenovo Y540 comes with a 3-cell 52.5-watt-hour battery which gives you an overall up to 6 hours. While playing games the battery life Lenovo Y540 is good but not that good as Helios 300.
