How To Remove Android Apps Installed Via WSA

In Windows 11, users can install various Android apps through the built-in emulator tool Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA). Still, if the number is too large, it will naturally occupy a lot of space in the system. Therefore, if there are unwanted or incompatible Android applications, it is recommended to remove them manually. Since WSA does not have the concept of a “home screen”, the way to remove an app is very different from that of third-party emulators, and it is closer to the steps of removing ordinary programs.

Step 1. First, right-click the Windows icon and find the “Settings” option.

Step 5. Another way to remove it is to click the left mouse button on the Windows icon, find “All Apps”, right-click the corresponding App, and click “Uninstall”.

Step 6. If the Android App cannot be uninstalled smoothly, you can go to the WSA setting screen, press “Close” to stop all running applications, and then remove the App.

Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) in Windows 11 provides a way to run Android applications on your PC. With WSA, you can use all of the features and functions of Android on your PC without having to install any software other than the Windows operating system itself. Additionally, WSA allows you to access files and data stored on your mobile device directly from within Windows, making it an ideal solution for working with large files or transferring data between devices.
