Design
The layout of these cards We already know what a beast the RTX 4080 is. Other than a chunky appearance, its huge and beefy casing is so large that people are concerned about whether it will fit their PC case or whether they should get a full tower chassis instead. This card maintains a design language that is very similar to the previous generation RTX series cons.
The RX 7900 XT, on the other hand, is smaller than its Nvidia predecessor, requiring 2.5 slots and measuring approximately 276 millimetres in length. This card’s triple fan design and gunmetal finish look premium while maintaining a minimal vibe, but what really stands out is the Dual 8 pin connector that will be used to power this GPU. Connectivity
The RX 7900 XTX has an excellent selection of ports, including one HDMI 2.1 port, one USB type-c port, and two DisplayPort 2.1 ports, which the RTX 4080 lacks.

Gaming Benchmarks (1080p)
A total of 8 video games were used for the in-game tests. All of the games were tested in both 1080p and 4K resolutions. Far Cry 5, DOOM Eternal, Final Fantasy XV, Metro Exodus, Gears 5, Red Dead Redemption, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Assassins Creed were among them.
Both graphics cards beat each other at this resolution, but results vary by game. However, their distance seems laughable. Across 8 games, the RTX 4080 leads by 1%.
Gaming Benchmarks (4K)
The RTX 4080 excels at higher resolutions. At this resolution, the Nvidia GPU has a 15% advantage. These GPUs seem to favour 4K gaming over 1080p, at least in today’s games.
Thermal Performance
Nvidia and AMD have good operating temperatures. The RX 7900 XT reaches 58 degrees and the RTX 4080 60 degrees at full load.
Power Consumption
They use electricity equally. At full load, the 7900 XT uses 394 W and the RTX 4080 410 W.
Price
The RX 7900 XT, which starts at $899, has 20 Gigabytes of video memory and 84 Ray tracing and compute units. The base frequency is 1500 megahertz, and the boosted frequency is 2400 megahertz. With everything on board, this car has a typical board power of only 300 watts, and AMD recommends at least a 750 watt power supply.
At launch, there were two versions of the RTX 4080, one with 16 gigabytes of video memory and the other with 12 gigabytes, which were later discontinued due to public backlash. For $1,199, retailers sell NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4080. Regardless, this card packs 9728 Cuda and 113 Ray tracing course, which is quite impressive. The RTX 4080 performs better in 4K games than 1080p games, which seems to be the target resolution for these graphics cards. This 15% performance advantage may make some reconsider buying the RX 7900 XT. Graphics cards often support additional technologies like DLSS 3.0, which may favour Nvidia.
AMD offers better price/performance for 1080p gaming at high frame rates.
