Today we’re looking at the ROG Delta an RGB USB C headset with a quad DAC and on the other hand, we have the Sennheiser GSP 550. sun-hi sir is out to prove that USB headsets are still a thing in 2020. Now that GSP 550 is their newest headset to feature this type of connectivity and it may not offer the same kind of compatibility that a 3.5-millimetre headset would give you but it does have some unique features that make it still a compelling choice.

Start

Start with the Asus, the design looks and feels like a real luxury bit and has a very solid feel. The smooth and soft body finished that’s lovely to the touch and looks outstanding. When displayed on your desk in fact, we’ll go as far as to say that this is arguably the best-looking headset to date. As it’s not to gamer but it’s gamer enough that it is gonna be right at home in your setup. In this stage, you probably already noticed the RGB lighting which is true as pointless as ever whenever you’re wearing them. But it does add a little bit of extra flair to your desk whenever you set them aside. It’s hardly a must-have feature for a pair of headphones and we wouldn’t call it a true selling point. But as they’re wired anyway we suppose there’s no harm done as to be fair it is implemented very well speaking of the wire bow. It’s very interesting to see ROG implement USB see here the Delta terminates with a reversible standard for connecting to laptops phones and the Nintendo switch but it connects to the included USB and extension cable for use with PCs and Playstations. It’s great to see something so Universal and we’d love to see more manufacturers implement this the headset body can be adjusted to fit larger size heads.

On the other hand the Sennheiser GSP 550. comfort is surely one of the most critical points when picking on a new gaming headset. After all, you’ll be using the thing for hours on end. The GSP admittedly doesn’t seem like the usual comfortable headset approximately though that assumption disappears slightly quickly once you commence using the headset. This has an adaptable headband carrying an adaptable hinge system, which changes where precisely the majority of the clamping force holds a place. So that you can additionally customize the fit. Once you’ve obtained the perfect fit the GSP 550 remains surely superbly convenient. Thanks to the open back pattern and the breathable fabric earpads you’re additionally not possible to have any problems with heat.

The Delta is equipped with a dedicated quad deck that promises a delivers crystal-clear audio. It’s a very strong performance for the headset and while it’s certainly not a reference pair of headphones. It comes with a 3.5mm USB port. The music and volume controls have the buttons on the left ear cup. It also supports an AI Noise-Cancelling microphone which works brilliantly and surely blocks noises during the gaming.

On the other hand with the Sennheiser GSP 550, you will get the music control on the right earcup. It also supports the 7.1 Surround sound which works very well and you will surely enjoy your gaming through this one and to switch the surround sound you will get a switch on a line control panel through which you can change the setting regarding the surround sound. The mic also works well and blocks the sounds which may distract you during gaming.

Both of these headsets are wired headsets so you will have a simple plug and play scenario. You just have to plug your headsets with your gaming console and you can freely enjoy your game without the tension of the battery life and connectivity range.on cool thing about the wired headsets is that the connectivity range of the headsets is directly dependent upon the length of the connecting cable.

Which is better!

Both of these headsets have a very good build quality and have a very attractive design. But both of them have their positives and negative points. The Sennheiser produces a great sound quality with its best class 7.1 surround sound performance. Whereas Asus’s noise-cancelling technology is much more superior to the other one. And comfort wise the Asus Delta is much better than GSP 500 which is good from the gamer’s perspective.
