Sennheiser IE 300 vs Lenovo Legion H500 Pro 7.1

Sennheiser IE 300 are excellent in-ear dynamic headphones with great sound. The headphones are very compact, look great, and delight with a rich package bundle—the first in a new line of audiophile plugs from Sennheiser. As you know, their past top-end vacuum models were good, but with their own features that all buyers did not like. In the review, we will figure out what has changed in the modern series and whether the IE 300 is worth a lot of money requested for them.

Lenovo Legion H500 Pro 7.1 – Wired Gaming Headphones with 7.1 Virtual Sound. A self-adjusting headband distinguishes the model with a metal base, an interesting design without illumination and other “gaming bells and whistles,” and decent sound. In the review, we will deal with all the nuances and features of these gaming headphones.

Sennheiser IE 300 headphones themselves, a detachable cable, 2 pairs of silicone ear pads (and put on one pair), three pairs of foam ear pads, an instrument cleaning loop, hard case, and documentation. The package bundle is wide enough, but we do not suck “luxury.” But there is a trump card here.

The foam ear cushions here are of exceptionally high quality. They are very different from most of the “foam” that other manufacturers put in their headphone kits. They do not get dirty, do not wrinkle, do not get damaged from attempts to change them, and always take their original form. Foam ear pads that won’t wear out in six months – finally. They are also comfortable, but more on that later. In the meantime, let’s move on to the headphones themselves.

Sennheiser IE 300

The Lenovo Legion H500 Pro 7.1 headphones come in a fairly large box, inside which the headset itself, an extension cable, an adapter, a sound card, and documentation are neatly stowed. The set is small but sufficient. Available in only one black color with blue accents on the cable.

The headband of the headphones is self-adjusting. That is, we have a metal arch-base and a hanging soft part. The base here is solid, not very flexible. It looks interesting because of the perforation. Not prone to dirt, scratches. The padded headband is housed on a plastic headband. It rests on an elastic thin bundle around which the audio cable is wound between the cups.

The bowls of the Lenovo Legion H500 Pro 7.1 are round, plastic. On top, there is a corrugated metal segment, into which dust and small particles are very well clogged. The plastic of the bowls is matte and non-staining. They have a small hinge, which provides a more precise fit to the head. Non-removable ear cushions are rather thick and wide with a memory effect. Covered with high-quality leatherette.

Sennheiser IE 300 are very comfortable headphones. They are almost weightless; they sit firmly and comfortably in the ears. Earhooks can be adjusted for yourself; they do not chafe. It can also be worn with goggles, as the wire easily turns in the connector. But it keeps there securely. Due to its small size and ergonomic shape of the case, it will almost certainly “fit” in any ears.

And now to the nuances. None of the silicone complete earpads fit me. This is the first time. The fact is that the outer part of the ear pads (flanges) is very soft. Neither size provided the right comfortable fit with quality soundproofing. Foam fit perfectly. It was with them that the headphones became very comfortable.

Lenovo Legion H500 Pro 7.1 – comfortable headphones. They sit on the head securely but comfortably. The earpads are moderately soft; the memory effect pleases. The headband adjusts perfectly to the head; the lining is also soft: it does not rub, does not squeeze. The downforce is also sufficient but without discomfort.

But the sound insulation is excellent. And here, the headphones very effectively cut off from the outside world and, accordingly, immerse you in the virtual world.

Conclusion!

Sennheiser IE 300

And the main question is, is the Sennheiser IE 300 worth the money? Headphones for $ 300 +, and even wired ones, are overkill for many. The price seems reasonable. This is already an audiophile model with all that it implies. And from this point of view, headphones are worth their money. But, of course, here, it is already worth considering whether their handwriting suits you because, in the audiophile segment, other points fade into the background.

Lenovo Legion H500 Pro 7.1

Lenovo Legion H500 Pro 7.1 headphones are an interesting option, and the price is quite reasonable. Especially if you take it at a discount. Yes, the price is not really budgetary. But we get good gaming headphones that can be plugin 3.5 mm to different devices, such as a phone. Universal model. An option for those looking for home headphones for gaming and movies on PC, laptop, and phone.
