Wireless Earbuds: 1MORE Colorbuds True Wireless vs Cambridge Audio Melomania 1

The 1More ColorBuds are the best TWS headphones. Nice design, good design, good battery. They still have aspects that could be improved, as is the case with their app, but still, we loved them. The Melomania 1 are in-ear headphones with Bluetooth technology designed for music lovers who want to enjoy music anywhere. They are water-resistant and fit comfortably in our ear, but their size may not be suitable for everyone.

1MORE ColorBuds

The 1MORE Colorbuds True Wireless that was released last year. Everyone loved them for their design, comfort and battery life, but that might change with the new 1More ColorBuds that we will discuss in this comparison.

Cambridge Audio Melomania 1

Many of you may not know Cambridge Audio, but it is a British manufacturer that has more than 50 years of experience creating Hi-Fi equipment and Home Cinema systems. They recently presented the Melomania 1, their first in-ear headphones with Bluetooth technology.

One of the novelties of these headphones is also the Smart Auto-Play, which basically for what you are listening to when you take out the right earphone. When you see them side by side, they seem to have the same proximity sensor.

Cambridge Audio Melomania 1

They are not only good for listening to music but also good for making calls. In them, we will enjoy Qualcomm’s cVc noise cancellation that achieves quite good results. Unfortunately, when it comes to recording audio this system does not seem to work but it still seems to capture the voice without problems and with good quality.

The headphones come with an oval case that is also smaller than its previous version and with an LED on the front that will indicate the charging status by changing color. How will you always be with this box to keep them, I think they have made the right decision to reduce their size and in this sense, it is an evolution.

Cambridge Audio Melomania 1

Cambridge Audio is a company that takes care of the details. It is mainly made of plastic and our model is beige although it is also available in black. It has a matte finish, very soft to the touch, which seems to repel dirt quite well.

Which is better!

The 1More ColorBuds are a good evolution in relation to their previous version. It is true that in terms of comfort they have worsened, but the design is more elegant and compact, its box is charged by USB-C and the sound is still just as good. What they should do now is improve the app they have to give us more customization options, especially an equalizer to adapt the sound to our preferences.

The Melomania 1 are Bluetooth headphones designed for music lovers that offer outstanding sound quality. They are quite large but thanks to their lightweight we can carry them comfortably for hours. Their autonomy is good and they are compatible with Bluetooth 5.0 and the most advanced audio codecs (AAC and aptX). In addition to all that in calls we can enjoy CVC noise cancellation and they are water-resistant.
