Samsung has quickly established itself as one of the most exciting PC manufacturers. Galaxy Book Pro 360, as the name, suggests a 360-degree flipchart computer. But with a lot of differences in addition to design and touch screen.

Galaxy Book Pro 360 is available in both 13- and 15-inch sizes. Here is the smaller one we tested. It maintains a high build quality in a tightly slim design. Some joints in the chassis testify that it is not as lavish construction as some other competitors have, but overall the build quality is top class.
The basic model costs $1440. It is equipped with the eleventh generation Intel Core i5 processor, Intel’s Iris Xe graphics, eight gigabytes of RAM, and an SSD of 512 gigabytes. A model with Intel Core i7 and 16 gigabytes of memory and a built-in 5g modem is available to pre-book, but it will not deliver until August.
This set of hardware gives the computer good basic performance for daily work – surfing, office, media streaming, and the occasional video meeting. However, we would have liked to have seen 16 gigabytes of frame memory instead of eight. In some situations, with many windows open, heavy documents to handle, and one or two more demanding programs running, it is noticeable that there is a ceiling for what the computer can handle.

The 15.6-inch version is only 14 millimeters thin – the Pro Book 360 is one of the lighter ultrabooks with a convertible design. The display shows websites, documents, photos, and videos in Full HD with 1920×1080 pixels. A higher resolution for a more detailed display would be nice, but the AMOLED screen is convinced extremely with high contrast values and even brightness distribution. This is how the picture looks bright from any angle.
The accuracy of the color representation is a bit low at only 93.7 percent, but this only proves to be a drawback with demanding image processing. And as it befits a convertible, the display can be rotated 360 degrees and folded onto the back of the keyboard. This means that the user has a tablet PC in front of him, whose touchscreen he can edit with his fingers and with the supplied pen (S Pen). If you sit outside, you should look for a shady spot – the display is highly reflective.

The performance of the Galaxy Book Pro 360 is such that it can use it for video editing and rendering tasks without any problems. The convertible is also a good companion for moderately demanding games. It has to work hard, but it can get quite warm on the underside.
It works almost silently if the Galaxy Book Pro 360 is used for office tasks or multimedia playback. It has a very loud fan noticed on two occasions: First, when the laptop is started, for example, when a UEFI update is installed before Windows starts. And with Windows under higher load, the fan sometimes spins up audibly, which is annoying.

The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 transmits with the latest WLAN standard Wifi 6E. Bluetooth 5.0 for external speakers is also on board. There are many connections despite the slim design: a combo socket for headphones and microphone, an HDMI connection for external displays, and three USB Type C ports with DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 4 technology.
The advantage of this technology: With it, the notebook battery can be charged via an external USB-C monitor, for example. A card reader for microSDXC cards rounds off the range. The keyboard and touchpad don’t disappoint either: the pressure point is crisp, and the large touchpad implements all inputs precisely.
When it comes to speaker the sound is clear and has a slight reverb effect. Basses are subtle and pleasant. On the other hand, we describe the maximum volume as more expandable. It is sufficient for normal music enjoyment, but the device is too quiet for a loud party atmosphere in a good mood.
Keyboard
Samsung has done a lot of things right when it comes to input devices. The keyboard is backlit in white with three brightness levels. The keys, as such, have an extremely short key travel, which is accompanied by a crisp counter pressure. Nowadays, the separate number pad is no longer a matter of course.
The power button also houses a fingerprint scanner, which was still located in the area of the cursor keys on the Flex 15. This allows you to log into Windows without entering a password. Practical: By combining it with the power button, the switched-off laptop remembers the fingerprint and logs the correct profile directly into Windows after the start-up process. Not all manufacturers take this simplification process into account.
Samsung also maximizes the ClickPad, and you get a huge input field (13×9 cm) with a beautiful surface that did not cause any problems in the test.

Samsung specifies a battery life of around 20 hours (68 Wh) for the Galaxy Book Pro 360, which we think is a bit euphoric, especially if you have turned up the display’s brightness. In our experience, however, the device can last for 12 hours. On the positive side, the included 65-watt power supply unit is noted, charging the device to around 40 percent in half an hour.
Conclusion!
Galaxy Book Pro 360 is a stylish and handy flippable laptop with a low weight, sleek LED screen with Samsung’s exciting range of bonus features and fun applications. It is also a high luxury factor at a convincing price. However, some limitations in performance leave traces in the otherwise smooth experience. We do not get a wow feeling.
