Selected assemblies are gifted with a discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX450 graphics card with 2GB of GDDR6 video memory. The role of the controlling operating system in various configurations is played by Windows 10 Pro (64); there is also an opportunity to buy a laptop without a pre-installed OS.
On the motherboards of Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 and Lenovo ThinkPad T15 Gen 2 laptops, 8 or 16 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM are soldered, another 32 GB can be added with brackets. For storing user data, an M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0×4 NVMe Opal2 solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 1 TB in factory assemblies is intended (the maximum volume after an upgrade is 2 TB).
The integrated discrete TPM 2.0 encryption module and a fingerprint scanner that stores data on the chip are designed to protect users’ information stored in laptops. Cases of new products are made of black plastic and magnesium alloy. The 15-inch model measures 36.6 x 24.8 x 1.9 cm and weighs between 1.75 and 1.84 kg (depending on model), and the 14-inch model measures 32.9 x 22.7 x 1, 8 cm with a weight of about 1.5 kg.

Conclusion!
At first glance, the new Lenovo ThinkPad T15 and T14 do not differ much from other models. And conceptually, it fits perfectly into this line. At the same time, it is a good laptop for office workers, whose tasks do not require high performance but need good battery life, a large set of ports, and high stability. Although against the background of competitive solutions and simple consumer laptops, we would like to see less plastic and more modest dimensions; it would also not hurt to have good sound from the speakers and a higher level of backlighting in basic configurations.
